Sam Hurrie

Canadian songwriter, string player (guitar, dobro, mandolin) and producer born 1946 in Toronto, Ontario. Started playing guitar in 1957 and co-founded The Churls in 1967. After 3 years of touring with the band and trying to make it big in the US, moved to Powell River, British Columbia and worked at a paper mill for the next 35 years. He continued playing and performing but in 2005 started recording again.
